HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Police are investigating a robbery at First Source Federal Credit Union on State Street in Herkimer.
Investigators say two men gave a note to a teller just after 11 a.m. Monday, but did not show a weapon. The teller followed procedure by giving the men the money and then calling police.
Herkimer Police are saying the suspects were last seen travelling northwest on foot.
"Currently, we're looking for two suspects. One is a black male, approximately six feet tall, with two earrings in each ear, wearing a red hat, thin build. The other subject is a shorter, lighter skinned male. That's the only description we have at this time," said Herkimer Police Department chief Joe Malone.
No one inside the building was harmed. The customers and employees at the bank are being questioned by police.
